Touchpad not working on LUBUNTU laptop, why?

The touchpad / keyboard does not work on my laptop (Sony Vaio VGN-NS235J). It happens like this

  • If you install Windows XP
    Both the keyboard and touchpad do not work!
  • If you install Lubuntu
    Only the touchpad does not work!

Important: the laptop does not have ACPI. Lubuntu is loaded via the "acpi=off" parameter. A Windows was installed via F7

@Zoominger

There are no drivers.
For Windows XP, see the manufacturer's website.
Under Linux, try to look in the "Proprietary Drivers" program, if it's not there, then under Linux the touchpad will not start.
