Tormented by some advertising scripts in Chrome, how to remove them?
By the nature of my activity, I use a lot of plugins in Chrome, but some of them have some kind of incomprehensible scripts, either advertising or some other. They constantly hang in scripts, interfere with debugging with unnecessary messages in the console, empty house elements, etc. For example: storage.min.js, contentscript.js metabar
How to determine which extensions these scripts belong to and remove them? I know that extensions like in a directory are added to the directory with the browser.
Answer the question
In order to leave comments, you need to log in
chrome://extensions/
chrome://plugins/
if disabling does not help, you need to determine the soapware and clean it (usually through the registry)
Separate installations - chromium/fox for work, chrome/waterfox/pale moon for relaxation.
