Thunderbird and LDAP
I connected the address book from LDAP, when creating a new letter, the typed names are compared,
but if you call the book itself, you need to enter the @ symbol or a space in the search string to see the list.
Users sit, stare blankly at a blank book, and don't realize that they need to type @ to display the entire list.
It is even difficult for many users to explain this.
How can I force LDAP or Thunderbird to return a list without additional steps?

At the very least, this should not be done.
Why would your users need to browse the entire LDAP mailing list?
A request to LDAP with the issuance of all users is a rather "heavy" operation. The load on the server will grow exponentially with an increase in the number of users (the number of recipients will grow and at the same time the number of clients sending a request). On LDAP servers, just for this case, there are limits on the number of records returned per request.
Think again if you really need it.
Understood. Thank you.
It is necessary to make suggestions to users.
