Think I'm wrong or right?
I am a developer. The story began with how a month ago I received a project "for revision" (site-shop). Todo list innovations intersect with changes to existing code, as you know, projects often consist of creepy shit code, and this one is no exception. Okay, I think I'll figure it out and do it. I am already finishing the last tasks and have reached a bug that is difficult to fix due to its inconsistency. The problem is that sometimes if you do not enter an email, then an error is generated, sometimes not (the presence of 2 forms, one of which is hidden is the cause of inconsistency ..).
As a result, lately ANY (they can call at night) problems with this form (bug) have often been attributed, although I might not have worked with it at all, the global crutch of previous programmers makes itself felt.
I believe that if I was given the task to correct the output of errors from the form, this does not mean that I should throw out all the code of the forms and write my own without crutches.
The superior thinks (boss and developer) that I am responsible for the site and everything needs to be done beautifully.
PS all this is on Bitrix.

Should do what they pay for. They want a new form - explain the terms and rewrite if they agree.
