There is an A4 printer, there is a document that can only be seen on A3 (or better A2), how to print under Windows on two (4x) sheets and glue?

How to glue it is understandable, but is there a “cutting” driver or a virtual printer?

You need to use PDF - that's right.
Here's what it looks like:

Previously, this thing definitely knew how
fineprint.com/fp/ Some
drivers can do it.
Well, in general - we print into a picture, we saw a picture

I had to print maps in Corel Draw. There, a similar thing was simply done by "printing with scaling."
- choose the size of the final document (you can manually stretch it to the desired size),
- also set the "print markers" parameter (I think that's what it's called).
- print;
- cut certain sheets by markers and glue them together.
PS wrote from memory, because. "Korela" is not in front of my eyes.
I think this way you can print not only graphic files, but also other documents by importing them.

I recently printed a pdf-ku with a building plan using the latest Adobe Reader, though I don’t remember exactly which version, so you can try to go this way.
Update: The reader is needed for Windows, since Linux does not know how to do this.

We output the document in pdf of the required format (using the same doPDF), in Adobe Reader, in scaling, select "split large pages" or "split all pages".

I used to use Microsoft Publisher from the office suite in such cases. He also makes marks along the edges for trimming.

PosterPrinter has already been mentioned above - it works well.
If you have a piano in the bushes at hand - Kyocera color AZ printers (TaskAlfa 500 ci, for example), then its built-in driver has the ability to print a large sheet on small ones. I printed A0 on A3. with marks for cutting and gluing. Very much.
