You need to develop a site on Joomla. There is a simple design, which includes:
- logo;
- a CSS button with a link;
- search form;
- login/registration form;
- horizontal pop-up menu;
- two-column content part (no side menus);
- basement.
Possessing a base of HTML and CSS, he successfully designed simple business card sites for his friends.
There were too many difficulties with the engine (I got completely confused with the modules alone), and a working site is needed in a couple of days. For the whole day I could not even set up the correct display of the logo, there is nothing to say about other elements ...
Perhaps there are some "constructors" of templates for dummies? ..

If you are confused in the joomla admin panel, it means that your brain is working logically.
Try wordpress or any other engine.
Joomla is really the dumbest of the engines, but the design issue in it is solved no more difficult than anywhere else

I agree with you, but I said that I just know the main base. For example, on CSS I can make a button with a gradient, translucency, etc. Naturally, this experience is not enough for a full-fledged template, and therefore asked for help.
I already tried other engines, including WP, the choice still fell on Joomla, despite its quirks. :)
I'll address the freelance audience: can anyone write an installation package? The design is ready, you just need to "digitize" it, looking at the picture.

Find a template that suits the structure and redo
it. If you have time to figure it out, take it as a base:
