The site is made on grids and flex, how to make it cross-browser compatible so that everything looks good on Safari in earlier versions? Client requirement, most of its users are on older versions.

The old fashioned way.
Take BrowserStack , find jambs, google problematic properties for bugs.
If you can not get around - rewrite the framework for technology in a simpler way.
You rejoice that you didn’t have to make up for emails - there you would have to remember about the tables in general.
