There is a rented sip phone, the task is to choose what to use for calls through the browser.
I think about webrtc, asterisk, freeswitch. there are a lot of articles on the Internet, unfortunately they are very old, but it seems to me that information for more than a year for webrtc is not very relevant.
Which bundle to choose for calls to / from the browser? Asterisk, freeswitch + webrtc?

"for calls through the browser" - it's better not to do this. Now many browsers have begun to block it. Some require permission, while others just block and that's it. So it won't work properly.
