I have a table that stores data on sports results for a certain year, then in the new year the group moves to a new level, the year changes, and a new record is created in the results table with data (there is not much data)
The situation is that when the number of groups accumulates and years, then the output from the table will slow down. and I want to come up with an archiving function.
I see it like this: by pressing a button or automatically, all records from the main table by the parameter GOD < 2011, for example, are transferred into transactions, let's say, into the archive table. And who needs old records are already taking them from the archive.
Thus, the data in the main table will always be in a certain limited amount.
