Comrades, there was a misfortune of misfortunes - a project on joomla fell for maintenance, and an ancient one (1.5.20). I've never dealt with Jumla, I've only scratched the surface.
The crux of the matter is this: The photo gallery ignite gallery 2.1 worked on the site, but has recently stopped working. The gallery is being initialized because Images appear, but functionally does not work. Not scrolling, not a single preview works (when clicked, the page stupidly flips up, along the anchor #). Also, the header image does not load. As I understand it, apparently, some kind of trouble has become with the scripts. Climbed the entire component, did not find trouble. Tell me where to dig, where to look? Also, the Ozio Gallery 2 photo gallery stopped working in parallel, but this is secondary. I would be grateful for any tips, tk. Internet didn't answer

The gallery is being initialized because images appear

Is the appearance of images a sign of work? So all the markup is probably in html, and then js builds a gallery from this markup. But not the point.
when it comes to js - the first place to look is in the console. Perhaps the error is not with the carousel, but somewhere before its initialization code. In any case, the first thing is to look at the console.

2. delete the logs on the server side, rather there is something there.
