The Newbie Programmer's Way: Pascal>C>Java?
I am 30 years old, in programming a complete zero. There is no technical education. They advised me to start learning programming in this order: pascal, then c, then java. This is all for a better understanding of the essence of programming, so that the training is consistent and does not cause hatred for this business. Is your opinion justified?

Do not learn dead pascal)) I
recommend starting with C, then C++.
If you wish, you can look towards Golang. The language is very simple and young (alas, there are few vacancies so far), but it is rapidly gaining popularity. The link is not a complete video course (I haven’t recorded everything yet) Immersion in Google Go
In my opinion, no, not justified. You need to decide on the subject area: web, desktop, mobile or microelectronics. Pascal? it is taught for educational purposes. Yes, there are projects on it now, but it is not needed for a web programmer, you will lose time. C is needed mainly for microelectronics, where overhead costs from OOP are not needed. Java is mainly in business web development and partly on mobile for android. If for yourself for the soul, then you were advised above Python - an excellent multifunctional language.
My goal is to get a job as a java junior, but I'm afraid to become a shit coder, so I like the idea of moving from elementary to complex in learning. I tried to learn Phyton and Java at once, but a lot of things are not clear and there are thoughts that programming is not for me
If the goal is java, then c / c ++ and even more so pascal are superfluous.
pascal is dead
with / c ++ despite the similar syntax with java, they are quite different when it comes to classical learning, I still understand, but you have a very specific goal, so learn java, patterns ... get ready for an interview
I would not start with Pascal (although this is the most educational language). choose another language - and in order all tasks from here (or similar - dozens of sites) + mathematics for 8 classes at least
In view of the fact that there is no education and as a conclusion there is no experience, then you cannot clearly say to yourself "I want to do exactly that ..... crap" This takes time and experience. What to do? Oddly enough, but just try! File several small projects from each direction. After that, the questions will be more specific.
