It is necessary to use players that can use the capabilities of the hardware chip for video decoding.
From a layman's point of view, you need to watch with normal players, for example, media player classic and / or use the correct codecs (you will probably have to play with the settings). I usually recommend everyone to install the K-Lite Codec Pack (for example, the full version of Mega), it is enough for the needs of not only viewing but also encoding video in video editors / video streaming software.
