The most popular and demanded language in robotics? What kind of mathematics is needed in robotics?

I would like to know what programming language is the most popular in robotics. If this is not the case, then find out which languages are the most popular, for what purposes certain programming languages are used.
I would also like to highlight the sections of higher mathematics needed in this area.
Thank you.

Robotics is huge. There are industrial robots, and there are car robots. You already decide.
From mathematics, you will need theoretical mechanics. Which will pull with it:
-differential equations
-linear algebra
-harmonic analysis
-the theory of functions of a complex variable
-the theory of functions of a real variable
-differential geometry
This is all that will be pushed into your negligent head for 4 courses of any physics and mathematics, provided that you study, and not kick the bullshit.
for theoretical research you need matlab, for practical - C ++ or C

There are a lot of languages for programming robots.
Ranging from simple Wiring type for Arduino programming to Microsoft RDS for programming $1,000,000 "toys"
All the math that exists is no longer enough to design and program robots.

And you can even perform automation without a single script.
To do this, it is necessary to have a good understanding of analog circuitry, signal properties, and the mechanism for controlling external signals.
Everything that is not written in assembler can always be soldered with a soldering iron;)
