Greetings. There is a Power Innovation INVP2000-220-230 inverter, it has a pic16f874-20i / l microcontroller as the brains, which has failed. There is also a 2nd inverter of the same serviceable one, we tried to dump it and write it to a new controller, but what was to be expected, there is read protection on the flashed controller ... The question is, maybe someone dealt with this and someone has a dump ? Maybe contact the factory? What are the chances that the manufacturer, when contacting them, can send the firmware? Is it worth applying? In general, I will be grateful for any thoughts and ideas! Thank you!

, even if you write to the factory and they answer you, marketers will answer, not engineers, and repair is not profitable for marketers - they need to sell a new device. so stupidly say - buy a new one.
If you go to the SC, they will rather say - replacing the entire board, tk. The firmware is intellectual property and is not supplied to dealers.
And again, the question is whether it is stored at the factory / in the design bureau, because, especially if the equipment is old and has not been produced / withdrawn from support for a long time, or this series was released in a limited batch, or even more so, as they like, by a couple of contractors factories, companies "by order of the corporation" - then forget it all the more.
