The maximum number of folders in the root folder of the site is 10k?

In general, the question of such a plan. I downloaded a site with 50k pages, which is 40k folders inside public_html.
Uploaded all this to a VPS hosting managed by cPanel. It shows only 9994 directories inside the root folder. As I understand it, is this a limitation in Linux? Or can it be removed in some way to throw all the folders that I need there? I encounter such a number of directories for the first time, I don’t know the details. Tell me what’s what, please.

It could be hosting restrictions. Check with your provider.

Did you upload via FTP? 10000 is the FTP limit, not the hosting panel
