The best way to measure distances?

Please tell me a way to easily measure distances in Photoshop between elements, as well as on the finished layout. And now I do it through zoom and standard selection. And to measure the distance already on the layout. then I create a screenshot, paste it into Photoshop and measure it there. This is very time consuming. Is there a better way?

To measure in Photoshop, in other graphics programs, for any elements on the screen, use the free (for non-commercial) tool picpick tool its advantages:
To measure distance, I personally find it more convenient to use a crosshair rather than a ruler.
PS To measure the distance between an element and text or blocks of text, measure the distance from the baseline of the text!
