The best time for a New Year's release in the AppStore?

Good afternoon dear community!
Share your experience, what is the best time to release an application update in order to attract the maximum part of the old audience with the update?
As an option, I consider shortly before New Year's Eve (dates December 24-25), directly on January 1 or in the middle of the New Year holidays.
The audience is Russian, there are slightly more men, the age of the audience has not been established, the application is reference, so the average user opens it no more than 2 times a month.
