The background image is not set, what should I do?

I'm editing the Joomla template, I created a diff block, I gave it dimensions and I can't put a background image, it just doesn't appear, but the background color changes. Also, the image is not added via the HTML img tag, the browser sees it, but it is simply not detected
. What should I do? Has anyone had a similar situation?

Most likely the path to the image is not correct. Try an absolute path.
background-image: url(' sitename.ru/..../images/..../a.png ');

Does the file open on the server/hosting from under the browser directly?
Perhaps the hoster does not drag?
