The application updates itself. What to do? How to pick out from a computer?

Hello. I launched an application that updates automatically, that is, without my warning, and I can’t influence it in any way. It is intended to modify another application. It is not in the list of programs in the control panel, the developer is unknown. Now I realized that they can send me anything with the update, and how they want to use my computer for their own purposes, steal data, etc. What to do now? Demolish Windows to 0? There are no other ways?

Find where it is installed, delete files, also cut it out of the registry, and from the task scheduler.
If it's hard to find, roll back the system.
If there are no restore points or backups, reinstall Windows.

I have a free firewall from comodo, which shows all activity and asks permission to run the program.

If Windows 10, then "Settings", "Applications", "Startup" or "Settings", "Privacy", "Background applications". Task Manager.
