Tell me a good network hdd

Good afternoon,
please advise, not the most expensive, but reliable / proven solution for using at home as a file storage,
with a volume of 1.5-2 TB, I plan to connect it via cable to the router and then access it from a laptop via wi-fi

Anything from here?
www.synology.com/
It's been under the table for three years, I just blow off the dust from it. Distributes files to laptops, media player, downloads torrents. If you install more than one hard drive, then the raid will save you from accidents.

Something like this habrahabr.ru/company/intel/blog/109838/
And if it's simpler, then I would advise you to just plug a usb disk into the router, if the router allows.
Separate NAS are too expensive, IMHO.

The router does not allow, alas, about the cost - tinyurl.com/35zgdrl - there are quite a few options for 5-8 thousand, which is cheaper than assembling a computer (and hands for assembling compact systems are not particularly sharpened). plus I want something compact so that you can shove it into the shelf to the router and forget it.
