The other day MGTS came and installed an optical modem for GPON. As a service, MGTS also provides television through this box. Does anyone use it?
Interested in the technical details of the implementation of television. In particular, is it possible to watch TV on several TVs through one channel? (Of course, subject to the installation of appropriate receivers) Is the content encrypted? Is it possible to watch just in VLC on a computer? Is it multicast or http?

You can watch it in VLC. The usual multicast, exactly as it was with stream TV. Several receivers are low, they have one port allocated to a separate VLAN for TV, and multicast is rushing there.
