Telegram - how to make a bot description with formatting?

Sending /setdescription to @BotFather, choosing my bot.
I write text with formatting (I tried it with Win and Android), I use bold text, italics, a couple of links. Sending. I see that the text is formatted, everything is highlighted as expected.
I go into the description of my bot and see bare text without links and highlights.
Is it even possible?

I will answer myself.
From what I checked (channels, groups, bots), formatting (markup) cannot be used anywhere in the description.
For me it was not at all obvious.
