TeamViewer Host for Android. Are there analogues?
There was a task to configure remotely Android of the sister. I used to do it through Teamviewer: Teamviewer Host is on the smart, on the local Windows 10 machine. I switched to Linux, now there are already 3 distributions on the local machine: Fedora 29, Arch and OpenSuse Tumbleweed. And now there is a problem with Teamviewer: on Suz it does not start at all, after long dances with a tambourine it just demolished. It works on Fedor and Arch: not stable, but more or less. But this is only for incoming connections, or when connecting to a remote computer on which Teamviewer is installed. But it cannot connect to Teamviewer Host on Android. That is, the connection occurs, but the phone screen does not come to the local machine, it writes like ".. getting a screen" and the connection is terminated. Firewall disabled, Selinux disabled on Fedor - no result. I looked at the logs of the local Teamviewer - there is an error "MainWindow: No AppIndicator available on close, shutting down", but I can not understand it. In general, I can’t manage Android remotely with Linux through Teamviewer.
Am I wrong somewhere, or is this just a flaw in Teamviewer for Linux? And are there analogues of Teamviewer for linux to get full access to Android management? Googled on the Internet, programs like AirDroid provide more or less similar functionality, but the phone must be rooted, this is not an option

try this portable version https://yadi.sk/d/QTQl4yCJfQKZGw
another perverted option, since TM in Linux works smoothly through wine, install the latest version of wine and download TM for windows and try to run it like this :)
if you are in the same local networks with a phone, then use any vnc server for android,
if not on the same network, then look for a vnc server with support for the / listen or repeater function
Thanks Gregory, I checked your portable. There are no more errors in the logs, however, the phone screen does not come to Fedora: on the phone it says “Connection established” for a few seconds, then it is interrupted. Selinux deny does not give, iptables all on ACCEPT. It looks like the version of Teamviewer is just underdeveloped for Linux.
it makes no sense to install wine, since I didn’t delete the old Win10 from the disk (once it was possible to activate it by phone using the left keys, the key is also activated like a real one), so in extreme cases you can boot into Windows and from there via Teamviewer. But the question is to get away from Windows completely - so far it has not been possible, at least because of Teamviewera.
Apparently, it remains only to write to the Teamviewer developers (it's hard to believe that Linux is their priority) and look for a replacement, as you advised
