Table update?

Hello.
Such a question: when updating 1C-Bitrix or using some "special" modules, are the tables updated/deleted in the database?
There was a need for one module, but it was not possible to implement it using the engine, as a result, I made it with a simple PHP code, creating an additional table in the database.

Битрикс при обновлении может делать всё, что угодно, со своими таблицами, но чужие трогать не станет.

Некоторые модули ставят свои таблицы в базу данных. Поэтому создание своих таблиц вполне нормальное дело
