Syntax - active?
Good afternoon!
Please tell me if the pseudo-class -active, can "work" with one dot in the "prefix" - . active , rather than with the classic colon - : active ?
More precisely, it definitely works, but without a space from the name of the element to which we add it?
And the element retains the properties assigned to it via . active (is it actually a class?) , even when "release - click" !
Question: Is this normal? and why?)
Thank you!

You apparently have the .active class defined in your code . It has nothing to do with the pseudo-class.
