Synchronizing files between computers?

How to organize automatic file synchronization between a computer and a laptop with the least number of actions during synchronization?
It is desirable that you can select folders for synchronization. The thought about remote access arises in my head, but I don’t want to limit access to the speed of the Internet. Files are not big - code, books and other small things.
Windows 7 desktop, Ubuntu 16 laptop.
Thanks in advance everyone.

Most of the services that provide the cloud have clients for wins and nix.
Under the gopher I used:
https://mega.nz
https://www.copy.com
https://www.box.com
There are definitely native clients for the first two, I don’t remember about boxing.
Usually the problem is just something else, to find a free cloud with webdav.
Yandex has it, but I'm not happy with the ping.
If WITHOUT a cloud - then, apparently, it will be Unison + something
