Synchronizing an Outlook PST file between two computers?

Good day to all!
I have a question. There is a work email. POP3 only. Without the prospect of changing the protocol, software, etc. Currently used as an Outlook 2007 client.
The task is to synchronize the PST file from Outlook 2007 from the workplace to the home computer.
I do not want to carry a USB flash drive with PST back and forth. Google suggested that there are several programs - but they are quite expensive - from $ 60.
Is there an alternative free option to sync a PST file?
Thanks in advance.

Well, as I understand it, you can’t use Outlook both at home and at work at the same time, you turned off the file at work, turned it on with any cloud at home.

I faced about the same problem, I solved it with two tools, both are free for personal use:
Easy2Sync for Outlook , when Outlook is closed, will synchronize the pst database with the specified other (at the level of analysis of the messages contained there, and not a bitwise comparison of files)
and
Outlook Duplicate Items Remover allows remove duplicates if at the time of the start of synchronization there were identical messages in the databases that were previously requested

1. connect to pop3 on both machines, on both machines, disable deletion of messages from the pop3 box after receiving, clean the mailbox with a script/hands once a month imap.
3. fasten this mailbox to the same Yandex / gmail and again forget about it.

Connect a POP3 mailbox to any service that supports IMAP and collects external mail (Mail.Ru, Yandex, GMail) and use this IMAP mailbox in Outlook. The only negative is that letters will arrive with a delay of about 10 minutes. Sending at the same time continue through the old SMTP, letters will still fall into the sent ones.

you can hang a script on the exit from Outlook that will upload the file to the second machine, for example

The fact is that there are programs that do exactly what they do, which synchronize the PST file between clients. BUT! They are paid. I would like something like synchronizing the file itself, maybe using some kind of backup software? Which can only synchronize changes, and allows you to work with locked files in windows ... Maybe something like VSS. Really, no one asked this question?

on my work PC. Also, there is no Poison and Dropbox on my work PC.
Dead end?
