Synchronization of saves and settings

I have an Android phone and tablet.

How can I keep my toy saves, various app settings, and so on in sync with each other? Let's say I completed one level in Angry Birds on my phone, I launch the game on the tablet, and the level completed on the phone has already been completed on the tablet.

I don't even have any idea how to do it.

I did something similar through Titanium Backup. True, root is needed for this.
