There are N developers, each with virtualbox guest ubuntu. From time to time, everyone needs to install some kind of software, change global configs. Connecting to each via ssh and doing it separately is not an option.

At the same time, it should be possible to supply Vasya with some program that the others will not have and it will not be overwritten with the next update. And of course /home/ should not be synchronized either.
