Synchronization of a site on wordpress between several workplaces?

Good afternoon!
I'll start with a description of the situation:
I have a site on wordpress (xampp) in my office on my working computer, where I do development. But it turns out that I am completely limited to development, only being at the workplace, and sometimes I need to work at home.
Actually how to organize synchronization of development on two workplaces?
I tried to develop through Google drive, but every time I have to import the database and transfer content between two jobs, it takes a lot of time and am I not immune from my own forgetfulness?
Please put me on the right path. Thank you.

If you're working on something like denver, you can copy the entire denver folder to your dropbox/google drive folder and run it from there. And before leaving for another place, turn on synchronization.
Perhaps you can do the same with xammp.
This option is the easiest, but not the most correct. it would be more correct, as you are advised in the next answer, to use git

1) Github is the right way. It is still better to upload the database to which hosting thread and use it for testing.
2)VNC or TeamViewer.

Thanks for answers. As a result, I settled on the option when the database is hosted, and the project files are synchronized via Google Drive. Apaches are respectively local.
