Swollen Macbook Pro 13” 2018 (Touch Bar) what to do?

5cebddaec4b7e596276194.jpeg
I contacted Apple support and they told me to go to a service center. The SC said that the repair is from 10 working days, but what should I do for 10 days without a working laptop? In addition, all nearby SC reviews are negative.
What is this swelling? As far as I understand, only the battery can swell. Is it dangerous? How to fix it without giving your laptop to a sharashka office for two weeks?
The laptop was operated in a dry, warm room, almost always with the lid closed and connected to a power outlet.

Renting, for example. And in a good way, always have a spare at home.
If you do not want to lose the warranty and, possibly, the laptop, take it to an authorized service center.

Battery. Dangerously. And extremely dangerous about damage. Repaired only by replacing with a new one.
Formally, this is a warranty case, you can try to fix it under warranty.
Check here , it was a massive problem for firmware at one time

Why go to the sharashka? Go to the official authorized SC. Call the Apple service directly, look at the website for the phone number for your area, they will tell you. It is in Apple, and not the store or where you bought your laptop there - it will be faster and more correct.
Don't climb yourself. Don't give it to the hucksters.
Bring it to the service _obligatory_ and as soon as possible. A swollen battery is dangerous.

Only in the ASC, only there you can replace the battery. And it's better not to hesitate, the next step is the trackpad.
And most likely you will change the bottom topcase completely to a new one, maybe even a new generation keyboard will be installed, it seems like ifixed says that the metal of the membranes is generally different and now everything will be much better.
Regarding "without a laptop for a week" - demand a laptop in the SC, I don't know what your practice is in Russia in this regard, but in other countries SCs issue another laptop upon request for the duration of the repair. If I were you, I would call the SC and directly ask if they can give a laptop for replacement and under what conditions.
