Switching to thin clients, which option should I choose?
Good day!
There is a terminal server farm (3xRDS, 2xRDBC). At the moment, users from Windows connect to them, but HDDs have begun to crumble on computers, and in general there are problems with windows itself from time to time. Therefore, it was decided to switch to thin clients with network boot. As a test, an LTSP server with rdesktop was raised, but I didn’t like how device forwarding to a remote server was organized (the flash drive is forwarded as a network drive, there’s no camera at all, etc.) and there are still issues with displaying the picture (fonts look rude and resolution is needed set a fixed value for each user).
Actually the essence of the question: are there any systems \ clients close to the screw client rdp? Or you will have to buy thin clients with windows embedded, which is not very desirable, because. there is a large PC park (Core 2-Duo, 2Gb ram). Well, maybe share your success stories in this area =)

Have you thought about Wtware? Let it be paid, but quite divine price tags, and technical support is very pleasing. At the moment, more than 2000 cars are spinning, everything is fine.
