Switching to Angular 5 is mandatory, when did you start learning Angular 4?

I started to learn Angular 4....and I wanted to make one of my own projects in Angular....but I found out that version 5 has already been released...and soon 6..
what should I do now? continue to study 4 or should I already start on 5 or 6 version? Well, in general, what is the difference between the versions?
