Suspicious external links to the site. What to do in this case?

Hello, I recently asked a question about the strange behavior of the search bot.

As a result, it turned out that the bot went to the site by url with books for a reason.
Having found the addresses of sites that link to mine, I found that there are about a dozen suspicious (and not so) sites that have links to my site of the following type sitename.ru/pages/skachat-knigu-blablabla, etc. As I understand it, the search engine took links from these sites. Here is an example of sites that had links to my site. rs-just.odessa.gov.ua/forum/phpBB3/memberlist.php
?...
studio-format.ru/forum/memberlist.php?sk=l&sd=d&fi...
whose profile had similar links to the site.
I understand these links are posted by bots.
Who faced this? Should we fight this or can we forget about it? If we fight, then how (tell me where to dig)? And the main question is why is this being done?
