Style depending on the browser?

There is a rule that works in FF but doesn't work in Chrome. And there is a style exactly the opposite.
It is probably impossible to create a third style that would suit both ff and chrome.
On this question - can I somehow make a choice depending on the browser at the css level?
And will it be normal or is it still wrong?
