Streaming audio over Wi-Fi (Mac OS X -> Linux)
Actually, the question is: there are two laptops, on one Mac, on the other Linux. Is it possible to make sure that all the sounds that are output to the speakers of the first are broadcast to the second? (to connect it to a stereo system and watch movies, listen to music and surf wirelessly and with good sound)

I did something similar with Soundflower ( cycling74.com/products/soundflower/ ) on the poppy side, and any player on the client side (then there was Windows).
I'm not sure about multichannel audio, but it should be stereo.
As a Linuxoid, I recommend netjack. It has been ported to OS X: ccrma.stanford.edu/software/openmixer/manual/using_netjack/netjack-under-osx .
