Password storage

Storing passwords within the company

Good afternoon.

We faced such a problem that the company grew to a certain level and a slow, but employee turnover began. We store a fairly large amount of data from the servers and information systems of our clients. Until now, everything was stored in a simple Excel file, but now it has become problematic to issue the necessary data to the right employee. Are there any solutions for centralized data storage with access sharing by rights, groups, etc. So far, the only option that we see is to write our own web application internally to implement this.

We use www.teampass.net , not very beautiful, but all the described functionality is present.

I'll add more:
passpack.com - ssh keys are saved as text, i.e. are not attached as files, but are entered in a text field.
lastpass.com - I don’t remember how it was with the keys.

We have our own software. + local certificate for viewing passwords. Without it, the password fields are empty ... well, everything in the SQL database ...
In principle, the functionality is not great:
1. hierarchy of departments
2. a lot of fields for users like full name, AD login, pass, log pass from mail, etc.
3. Search
Your decision to write your own seems to me quite reasonable. There is not much functionality, and write what you need.
