Storage for a Proxmox cluster on GlusterFS: how to do it?
There are three servers (Dell R410, Dell R610, Dell R720xd). It is necessary to create a cluster to accommodate TEST virtual machines (I highlighted this word in caps, so that it would be clear that high reliability is not required from the system).
There will be no separate server for storage.
The Dell R720xd has a large basket (12 * 3.5 "). In addition to one of the Proxmox nodes, I'm going to place storage in it.
The question is how to organize this storage (available to other nodes so that Live Migration works, for example). For now, I'm looking towards GlusterFS 1 )
Is it possible to make Gluster from only one node? The other two will go to it over the network, the storage must be shared.
2) How to prepare disks for placing GlusterFS on them? Is it possible to assemble them into a VG, create a logical volume in this VG, mount them to a folder, and specify this folder as a brick for GlusterFS?

Why glaster something? Ceph is perfectly integrated into Proxmox.
If you don't need special reliability and performance, you can just give the basket via iscsi as an option.
Glaster from one node does not make sense, so NFS or iscsi is good for you, as Nikolai Saveliev told you
