Stop GIF animation in wordpress media section?

Good day to all.
The question is that after transferring the site from one hosting to another, when loading gif images through the wordpress admin panel, the animation immediately starts playing, on the old hosting this issue was decided by a person whom I personally did not know (found after 10 hands), I suspect that some kind of script has flown , is there any solution for this to happen only when adding an image directly to an article or a thumbnail - tell me at least a hint of a solution please, or at least in which direction to dig?

You can stop the gif and run it on click, for example, like here .
