Steam idle linux(raspberry pi)?

I stumbled upon such an article: tyk
Idling steam cards. I was interested in her, she did everything according to the instructions. Everything works, but not a single card fell. Perhaps it is no longer working, or does someone know other ways of idling cards under linux?
