Standard of supported browsers for websites in 2017-2018?

Hello. There was a task to write requirements for the site regarding supported browsers. I would like to know from those who are constantly faced with this, what requirements do you use?
PS Jokes about IE and Edge please keep to yourself.

Everything depends on the audience and the country. For example, in Russia, your site will never be visited in IE6, but in China it is still possible.
Large companies with millions of visits from all over the world daily often follow the following rule:
1. The main version of the site - only evergreen browsers (Chrome, FF, Edge / IE11 + Safari and Opera)
2. Legacy version of the site - a very simple, primitive site for the ancients browsers, however, allowing you to get a minimum conversion.

I would recommend that you first determine the audience of the site. For example, if it is a gosukha and officials, these are more "conservative" browsers. If the site is another social network, the emphasis is on mobile browsers, etc.
Although in general, of course, IE below 9 can be forgotten.

I always ask clients for browser requirements (to calculate the price, because if it is below IE10 then + 25% to the cost immediately) - and in 2017 only 1 site required IE8 support (a student site for one of the major Indian universities), the rest were all with IE10+ requirements.
