SSD on hyper ESXi 6.7, do you need any extra. software?

Guys, hello everyone.
The scheme is as follows: a mirror raid (RAID-1) of two WD Gold disks of 1 TB each on a hardware controller, it has a partition for ESXi 6.7 (4 Gb) and then the rest of the space (~ 0.99 Tb) for a datastore for ESXi. A separate single SSD disk is connected to the same controller and forwarded directly to the virtual machine as an RDM disk, on which 1C 8.3 databases are in file form (about 7-8 terminal users). Question: do I need to install some software for this SSD drive on the virtual machine where it is attached, or will it do nothing? It's just that there are TRIM mechanisms, now it is without software, nothing is being done. If necessary?

As I understand it, you (RAID-1) have two HDD disks, on which the virtual machines actually lie.
And here you are, on this decently loaded raid of two obviously not fast disks, will there be user profile files 1c, while you want to move the databases to SSD?
I don't see the logic.

No. No software is needed.
Whether though to check up works TRIM costs.
If it does not work, take measures to level its inoperability.

Understood nothing.

@Diman89

If pRDM - I would not do anything
If vRDM - Google has links to software for checking the SSD mechanisms used
