Squid transparent HTTPS proxying: connection refused, what's wrong?
Compiled and configured squid the same way as in this question , raised my DNS server (separate).
When requesting a resource, the browser requests a name from my DNS server, which answers it with the IP address of the server with squid. Squid responds like this:
Where IP address is the address of the server hosting squid.
I ran wireshark on the server with squid, it shows that after accepting the request, squid asks 8.8.8.8 for the name google.com and the server answers it with a valid address, and then immediately tries to connect to itself at the address indicated in the screenshot. Where is the mistake?
