Squid in transparent mode on a separate server. How?
There is a gateway with Debian Jessie. It has Squid on it. But for some reasons, it is necessary to remove it from there. Is it possible to use Squid on a physically separate server without changing client settings on the local network, in transparent mode? How?

There would be a tsiska, it would be possible to use wccp.
This would be a great option.
But if not, then it makes sense to use lacp + carp.
We will have two servers, but on each different service will be running.
But I would do it differently. More difficult.
On the server with Debian configured nat towards the server with Squid.
Everything was worked out on the proxy and returned back towards Debian in NAT, after which the user got into the next NAT, which would already be purely gateway.
And thus we do not change the settings for clients, but we have two spaced servers.
The question is not clear: what to remove - squid or gateway?
