Sql and subd for a beginner?

Hello friends, don’t throw stones, but the question is, if let’s say I learn pure SQL without a DBMS, and get a job as an intern where they use some kind of ORACLE, I can continue to work on pure SQL gradually rebuilding or I will have to learn more DBMS separately? Or are they completely different things?
In general, the question is: Can I, without a DBMS, solve problems in pure SQL?

The basics are the same everywhere, but the features and extensions differ from system to system.
