Sprite graphics library in javascript?

Physics is not needed, just the most simple library for a beginner for a 2d game: sprites, explosions, shooting, moving around the playing field, (infinite) playing field, mouse support. There are such?
Google certainly gives out, but there are more and more versions of 0.5.0 ... I would like something reliable and hassle-free.

canvas.js met many times on Habré and mine should be perfect for you.
