Sphinx RT or Redis?
Good afternoon. The site actively uses Sphinx RT indexes. Through the usual sql syntax, it turns out to build more or less complex queries. But the task arose to take into account the number of document views and build tops. In Redis, this functionality comes out of the box. What's the best way to do it? Store counters in Redis or keep using Sphinx RT only? Will Sphinx RT withstand frequent post updates under heavy load? Thanks in advance.

It's not very clear how and why you use the sphinx,
but I would solve it using Redis, the rest is already on task
