Sorting ui layers in unity?

Good day. There is a canvas with a couple of buttons and an image with a gradient. Image overlays the buttons and cannot be clicked. How to remove the gradient under the buttons?

With layers in the UI, everything is simple: what is lower in the hierarchy is drawn later. Take the gradient and drag it higher, you don't need to add additional canvases.
