Sometimes some bookmarks disappear in Chrome, how to fix?

Recently, I began to notice that bookmarks added a couple of months ago began to disappear from the bookmarks bar. For example, I open a page that I remember saving, but it is not in the bookmarks bar and there is no "blue star" that lights up if the bookmark is saved at least somewhere. There is free space on the system disk, sometimes it went to 0kb, but at that time it did not seem to add any bookmarks. The portable version of the browser is used, however, the data folder is still stored on the system drive.
Is this really possible, or did I just forget that I did not save these pages, but wanted to save them?
