Maybe someone faced such a problem?
Ubuntu 16.04 does not receive some messages, they just do not appear in the chat.
It costs the second windows 7 system, everything is correct in it.

There was and still is a problem. None of the tips helped, I had to switch to the web version. Over time I got used to it. However, if desktop Skype works, then your messages typed in the web version will not be visible.
